Public Rights of Way

We respect the fact that some of the drives take place near public footpaths and public roads and are therefore careful not to interrupt members’ of the public’s everyday life. We are aware that shooting can be a sensitive issue, so we use signs where necessary to inform the public where exactly the shooting is taking place, but also to highlight the benefits that shooting brings to the countryside. The public rights of way are also very clearly sign posted, to prevent members of the public going anywhere that might endanger them or interrupt the game birds and the drives on a shoot day. We will make it clear to the clients on shoot days where the public rights of way are, and we will not put any guns in a position where a member of public on a footpath could potentially be put at risk.
