Safety Policy

Balsham Shoot promotes the highest standard of health and safety to the shooting clients, the staff, and the members of the public. We understand that shooting does not come without a slight element of risk, so we therefore do as much as possible to encourage a safe environment. The guns will have a briefing at the start of the day, and we include every aspect of health and safety that we deem necessary. There are members of the shoot who are trained in first aid, and every vehicle/building that members of the shoot enter will have a first aid kit and fire extinguisher. We strive to maintain a clean and tidy working environment. Every precaution is taken to prevent disease, whether it may be concerning the game birds or members of the public. We make a conscious effort to ensure the workplace at Balsham Shoot is always up to date with the latest health and safety regulations. However, we will ensure that clients and employees take responsibility for their own actions and the effect they might have on others. Without cooperation from the clients and employees, it is difficult to have a safe environment. So, we ask everyone to stay safe, follow instructions and have an enjoyable day!
